The Stellar Aries is a cantilever parasol with LED Lights incorporated in the metallic frame structure. It is designed for luxurious commercial premises and high-end residential use due to its sandblasted anodised aluminium frame, durable, strong and resistant to heavy usage.  The frame is operated by a handle that enables the vertical shading while the base comes with a 360 rotating mechanism. This way you will be able to find the best position for your LED cantilever parasol and enjoy the beautiful weather without being harmed by the UV rays.

LED Cantilever Parasol Details

The Stellar LED cantilever is a parasol that is both functional and decorative. This product allows the user to adjust the frame to its optimum position to find shade, while the LED lights create a relaxing environment when lit up, so you could enjoy spending time outdoors also in the night. You can add a set of heaters to make sure you won’t feel any cold breeze and enjoy your parasol all year, no matter the season.

Materials Used

The frame – a silver anodised layer was added to the aluminium frame to make it more resistant to all kinds of harsh weather conditions or marks and scratches following a heavy usage or warehouse storage. Rust and corrosion are also diminished by this so you won’t have to worry about maintenance.
The canopy – similar to the frame, the Spuncrylic canopy has a protective Teflon coating which helps to keep the membrane clean and more fade resistant. The fabric is a type of solution dyed polyester, with increased UV protection and stronger fade and water resistance. Read more in the ‘Canopy’ tab.
(*) The canopy is the largest and most prominent part of the parasol. In case you wish to purchase your parasol for a commercial area, we highly recommend you to print your logo on the sides and gain more visibility for your business.

Fixations and Bases

Depending on whether you wish to change the place of your parasol on your deck or terrace, we can offer 2 different options for permanent and non-permanent fixations:

Permanent fixation

In-ground Base, providing the highest stability possible, requires to be buried about 60 cm deep.

Deck plate, if your cantilever will be placed on a deck, requires to be chemically fixed on concrete (adhesive not included)

Non-permanent fixation

Frame Base with weights, 4 x 30 kg concrete tiles, wheels can be added

Accessories

What’s great about this round cantilever parasol is that it comes with most of its accessories included: a doughnut shape speaker with lights, rotating base and canopy, and a protective cover. Optionally you can have a set of heaters.

LED Lights System

The key feature of this parasol is the high-tech LED lighting system, which is fitted neatly into the 8 ribs. Each rib features an integral LED light strip, that is controlled remotely, so you can set the amount of light you need.

Parasol Heaters

Parasol heaters are another great addition to your LED cantilever parasol, to create the perfect cosy atmosphere on the terrace. The 1500W, 3-headed infra-red heaters can be installed in the centre of the frame, for a 360-heating area. Not included in the initial package and are available only on call.

Shapes and Maats

The Stellar Aries Cantilever Parasol With LED Lights is available in a 3 x 3 m size, with square-shape canopy and 2.2m hight when open. See ‘Technical Data’ for dimensions.

Usage

Its versatile design makes the Stellar Aries a magnificent addition for your home garden, but it can successfully become a parasol for intense commercial use, for public outdoor sites such as cafe’s, pubs, restaurants, on terraces or in courtyards, to make your outdoor areas more pleasant for your clients during the hot sunny days.

Spuncrylic®

  • Spuncrylic® is a polyester which has been through a process called solution dying.
  • Solution dying is a technique used to add colour to a synthetic fibre.
  • Solution dying ensures colour is all through each thread before its woven, guaranteeing a higher quality and more vibrant colour.
  • Solution dying gives polyester a high-level resistance to fading from direct sunlight.
  • Spuncrylic® possesses excellent stain resistance and is water repellent.
  • Spuncrylic® offers an affordable canopy option which provides resistance to all weather conditions.
  • Spuncrylic® delivers a *UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) of at least 50.

*UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor), Indicates the fraction of the sun’s ultraviolet rays that penetrate fabric. Example, Material with a UPF of 50, allows just 1/50th of the sun’s UV radiation to reach your skin. The higher the UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor), the greater the protection offered.

All the premium parasols sold on the Shade specialists website are built to last, which is why we use Spuncrylic for our choice of material opposed to a standard polyester cover which fades in some cases after just a single season. After all, the canopy is the largest and most prominent part of the parasol!
