Details
The Sirocco Bamboo is a beautiful shade for any outdoor space. It offers the perfect, luxurious look for your patio, terrace or garden. It will stay in beautiful condition for years to come thanks to its strong wooden frame and stainless steel fittings.
Operation
This parasol uses a simple yet effective double pulley with a rope system, to make the operating process as simple as possible. To unfold the patio umbrella, you have to pull one end of the rope until the canopy is completely stretched, and lock the rope using the cleat clamp. The locking cleat clamps the rope so there is no need for the use of a pin to hold the canopy up. If you wish to collapse it, unlock the rope and pull the shorter end until the canopy is folded. Materials Used
The Sirocco Bamboo was tested in a wind tunnel by the Bambrella engineers to check the resistance and strength for the frame and canopy. The result – a wooden garden parasol that can withstand wind speeds up to 90 km/h. See the video for the test.
- The frame – crafted from natural laminated bamboo. This wood was chosen due to its similar tensile strength to steel and incredible flexibility.
- For the hub and runner – that have built in rollers for the rope pulley system and a patented locking cleat, marine grade nylon was used.
- The canopy – comes in 3, optional types of material, Polyester, Bamcrylic and Recasens, with about 20 colours to choose from giving you the choice of whether to make it blend in with the background or make it stand out.
Shapes and Sizes
The Round canopy is available in 2, 2.5 and 3 meters, whilst the Square one has 2 meters. If you’re not sure about the size you need, have a look at our parasol size guide for more info.
Accessories
Protection cover: Adding a polyester protection cover to your garden parasol will help increase its life and is an essential part, protecting it against mould and fading whilst not being used.
Heaters: For this model we recommend the heater 1500 and the LOU Lamp, which you can find in the ‘Accessories’ menu of our website. Just plug them into any outlet and you’re ready to go!
Lights: Adding a set of lights like the Bambrella Hanging Lights will make your parasol glow in the dark. Lightweight and portable, with long lasting battery, this LED lights offers enough for you to read, cook or have different activities under your garden umbrella.
Usage
Its outstanding design makes this wooden garden parasol fit nicely into any home patio or terrace as well as commercial premises in the hospitality industry. The canopy can be personalised with your brand or logo to help promote and make your business stand out.
The Sirocco Bamboo is equally a wooden patio umbrella versatile and able to flatter your garden, highlighting the space under and around it.
